Southeastern Regional Foundation for Autism Spectrum Disorders is a grass-roots assembly of parents and other concerned individuals whose lives are affected by autism spectrum disorders.

At SERFASD, our mission is to improve the lives of families and individuals affected by ASDs by:

• providing educational opportunities on the issues surrounding the disorders;
• giving support to ASD affected persons so they can know they are not alone;
• assisting individuals affected by ASD in reaching their maximum potential in educational, employment, and social pursuits; and
• advocating for appropriate educational programs, medical research funding, adult issues, increased public awareness, and understanding.

As with most disabilities, early intervention is key to making a positive difference in an autistic child’s education program and social development. By educating the general public and increasing awareness of ASDs, we hope our efforts will be a fundamental force in helping find solutions for these puzzling disorders.
